Most scan problems come from URL validation, redirects, bot protection, timeouts or a website returning something other than a public HTML page.
Only public websites can be scanned
LaunchCheck blocks localhost, private IP ranges, reserved networks, embedded credentials and unsupported protocols. The scanner is intended only for normal public HTTP and HTTPS websites.
The hostname could not be resolved
Confirm the domain is live in public DNS and that the spelling is correct. Newly changed DNS records can take time to become visible from every resolver.
Timeouts or blocked scans
Some CDNs and anti-bot services reject automated requests. LaunchCheck also applies request timeouts and response-size limits so a slow or unusually large third-party response cannot hold a scan open indefinitely.
Why does the score change?
Websites can change by deployment, geography, CDN cache, redirects, temporary errors or response headers. The report reflects what our infrastructure receives at scan time.
